New York Jets color codes: where they come from
We could not find a public brand guide from the New York Jets or the NFL with color codes. The codes in the table come from a third-party site, Team Color Codes or the source named in the Sources list, so treat them as a close reference, not an official spec. If you print or paint with these colors, check them against the team's licensed materials. White is listed without a code on these sources.

How the Jets colors changed
The Jets began in 1960 as the Titans of New York in navy blue and gold, and switched to kelly green and white in 1963. Hunter green (#003F2D) was used from 1998 to 2018, according to Team Color Codes, and the 1978 to 1997 set used a green of #046A38. The 2019 redesign introduced Gotham Green and the 2024 Legacy Collection renamed it Legacy Green. For the full timeline see the New York Jets uniform history.
HEX, RGB and Pantone: what the codes mean
A HEX code, such as the ones above, is a six-character web color. RGB gives the same color as red, green and blue values from 0 to 255. Pantone (PMS) is a printing system, and a "C" after the number means the color is matched for coated paper. Use HEX or RGB for screens and a Pantone number when you talk to a printer. The same Jets color can look different on a jersey, in a logo and on a screen, because fabric, light and the display change how it reads.
Matching Jets gear with other colors
When you pair Jets gear with other clothes, keep one team color dominant and let the others act as accents. Neutral white, gray or black layers work with most Jets jersey colors. A jersey in the team's main color is the easiest base. If you are comparing two Jets jerseys, look at which color the trim and numbers use, since that decides what shoes and caps match. These are style suggestions, not team guidance.
