History of the Jags throwback
The Prowler look, a black helmet with a teal jersey and white pants, was worn from 1998 to 2007. The team announced Prowler throwbacks in July 2024, debuted them in Week 5 that year against the Colts, and wore them in four marquee games in 2025. Vintage Jaguars jersey searches mostly mean this style or the original teal, black and gold set of 1995.
When do the Jaguars wear the Prowler in 2026?
The first 2026 Prowler game is Week 3 at home against New England on September 27, per the team's site. We found no full list of other dates. See the Jacksonville Jaguars jerseys 2026 guide and the Jacksonville Jaguars uniform history.
Retro next to the modern Jaguars set
The Prowler is the retro piece of a set that has moved from black to teal. The teal Jaguars home jersey is today's main look, the white away is the road jersey, and the Rivalries jersey is the newest. Many fans buy teal first and the Prowler second for its black helmet. The Prowler is a Trevor Lawrence style in our catalog.
