Color Rush compared with alternates and throwbacks
Color Rush was a league program, so it works differently from the alternates teams choose today. A modern alternate, such as a Rivalries design or a throwback, is worn on a team's own schedule. Color Rush kits were tied to Thursday Night Football in 2016.
