Raiders Hall Of Famers: Canton and Team Honors
Posted by JerseyZenith on Oct 27th 2026
- Cohort: 28 player connections plus 4 organizational members, 32 individuals counted once.
- Canton membership checked October 27, 2026; table years are official classes, not necessarily ceremony years.
- Team recognition: No separate team Ring year; a dash follows the explanation in the article.
- Franchise jersey numbers identify historical use; early careers may have additional season-specific numbers.
The Raiders are one franchise across three home cities. National Hall membership includes foundational AFL stars, championship players and short later ties, with playing and organizational careers separated so the total is reproducible.

How many Raiders are in the Hall of Fame?
The official Raiders Pro Football Hall of Fame table now contains 32 names, including Craig in the Class of 2026. Its introductory sentence still says 31 and calls Allen the latest addition, while the table and photo captions include Craig. We follow the updated named rows and the completed Canton ceremony rather than repeat the stale sentence.
The first table lists all 28 player connections. Davis, Madden, Flores and Wolf appear separately for the roles represented in the franchise’s national Hall feature. Flores also played quarterback, but is counted once in that organizational group because his Canton election is in the coaching category. This rule includes short stays without suggesting that all national achievements belong to the Raiders.
Coaches, owners and contributors counted separately
| Member | Role | Franchise tenure | Canton induction class | Team honor year (not applicable) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Al Davis | Coach/executive/owner | 1963–2011; 1966 AFL commissioner interval | 1992 | — |
| John Madden | Head coach | 1969–1978 | 2006 | — |
| Tom Flores | QB/head coach | 1960–1961, 1963–1966 player; 1979–1987 head coach | 2021 | — |
| Ron Wolf | Executive | 1963–1974; 1979–1989 | 2015 | — |
Oakland Raiders Hall of Famers and the city transitions
Otto, Biletnikoff, Upshaw and the early line and defensive stars connect the national membership to Oakland and the AFL. The 1982 move to Los Angeles and 1995 return to Oakland did not create new franchises. Allen’s championship peak and Brown’s long career therefore belong to the same historical record as the earlier stars. Las Vegas has been the franchise home since 2020.
Tenure dates identify the relevant city period. A 1991 season such as Craig’s or Lott’s belongs to Los Angeles, not the later Oakland return. Charles Woodson’s two playing spells both belonged to Oakland. The national list can include a great player’s brief Raiders tenure without assigning the records of his other teams to Oakland, Los Angeles or Las Vegas.
Canton induction, playing years and team recognition
The final dash column is inapplicable: this guide does not invent a Raiders Ring of Honor or a team Hall induction year to match another franchise’s system. National membership and any other franchise recognition must be named accurately. The Raiders jersey numbers guide handles the separate number policy.
Official roster and Hall pages occasionally use different career-span conventions. Upshaw’s last active season was 1981, with 1982 reserve status; Branch’s last regular-season play was 1985 even though some captions extend the association to 1986. Flores’ playing years exclude the 1962 season lost to illness and end with his 1966 Raiders tenure. Stabler’s table uses actual playing seasons beginning in 1970. Those distinctions prevent reserve or development time from being presented as another season of game production.
The Canton year means the official induction class. Flores is Class of 2021; Craig is Class of 2026, with the ceremony completed August 8. The Raiders all-time ranking compares franchise contribution and does not simply sort this membership list.
Throwback jerseys and the legends’ legacy
Otto’s 00, Allen’s 32 and Brown’s 81 identify distinct Raiders careers and eras. Browse the Raiders away collection or the legends jersey hub against an actual product’s number and edition. This national list does not imply every member has an available jersey.
A current Nike product can honor a past player while using a modern cut. Check the historical city and period before calling any item an exact reproduction of a specific Oakland or Los Angeles uniform.
Frequently asked questions
How many Raiders are in the Hall of Fame after the 2026 class?
The updated named franchise list contains 32 individuals: 28 players and four organizational members under the stated grouping. Craig’s completed 2026 induction updates the older 31-person headline.
Are Oakland Raiders Hall of Fame players on a different list?
No. Oakland, Los Angeles and Las Vegas belong to one franchise. The tenure dates identify the historical city period without duplicating membership on separate city lists.
Why is Tom Flores in the organizational table?
His Canton election is as a coach, although he also played quarterback for the Raiders. The grouping counts him once and identifies both roles rather than creating a second national inductee.
Does Canton membership mean the Raiders retired the number?
No. National induction and franchise number policy are separate. The linked jersey numbers guide explains that policy without treating the Hall list as a retirement register.
