Early reports put the Cowboys game in Week 12. The team's official schedule lists it in Week 13, on Monday, December 7, and the Seahawks' home-theme announcement from July 28 labels it a Throwback game. Seattle plays its first home game after the bye week that night.
Seattle has worn this jersey against Dallas before
The Seahawks wore the throwbacks against Dallas in 2023, when Seattle lost 41–35, according to Seahawks Wire. That game was the throwback's debut season. This time Seattle meets the Cowboys in the same royal blue, with a Super Bowl LX title behind it.
The coaches and players who know both teams
Seahawks.com notes several links between the sides. Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer was Seattle's offensive coordinator from 2018 to 2020. Seahawks defensive coordinator Aden Durde began his NFL career as a Dallas coaching intern in 2014 and later coached the Cowboys' defensive line from 2021 to 2023. Two Seattle defenders, DeMarcus Lawrence (No. 0) and Dante Fowler Jr. (No. 56), are former Cowboys.
