The Giants wear their Vintage Color Rush uniform on November 8: white jerseys and pants with the classic navy helmet and an underlined "GIANTS" wordmark on both sides. The look is an homage to the 1980s, when the franchise won its first Super Bowl, according to the Eagles' report. The Giants wear the same Vintage White look at home against Washington on Thursday Night Football on November 12.
Where Kelly Green comes from
The Eagles' 1990s-era Kelly Green uniform came back in 2023, which the team calls a throwback to an era of Eagles football that resonates with a generation of fans. They wore it in 2023 wins over the Dolphins and Bills, and in a 41–7 win over the Cowboys in their Super Bowl LIX season. Last year they wore it only against NFC East opponents, including a 38–20 win over the Giants. The black uniform debuted in 2022, when the NFL allowed an additional helmet.
Where both teams stand
Philadelphia is 2-4 through six games, according to ESPN, and plays Dallas on Monday, October 26. The Eagles then have a bye in Week 10. The Giants are 3-2-1 and play at Houston on October 25, then have a bye in Week 8 before the trip to Philadelphia.
