What the Midnight Navy alternate is
Midnight Navy came with the Mile High Collection, which the Broncos introduced before the 2024 season. The Broncos list it as an alternate uniform. They wear it twice in 2026: in Week 3 against the Rams, a 30–26 win, and on Christmas Day against Buffalo. The team has not said which helmet or pants it will wear in the Bills game. One outlet reports a white helmet, but that is not official.
How the navy has been worn
In 2024 Denver wore a Summit White helmet with an all-Midnight Navy uniform against the Browns on Monday Night Football. In 2025 it wore satin navy helmets with an all-blue uniform against the Bengals. The team says it will reveal pant and sock colors ahead of each week's game, so expect the Christmas details closer to December 25.
A playoff rematch
The Bills are not a new opponent for this Denver team. In the 2025 divisional round, Bo Nix led Denver to a 33–30 overtime win at Buffalo, then broke his ankle late in that game, according to Wikipedia. The Broncos meet the Bills again on a holiday broadcast. The Bills' own uniform has not been announced, and neither has Denver's helmet.
The Christmas Day slate
The Bills–Broncos game is part of a Christmas Day slate that also includes Packers–Bears, with both games streaming on Netflix, according to a FantasyNerds summary of the NFL's announcement. Denver and Buffalo kick off at 4:30 p.m. ET (2:30 p.m. in Denver), which makes the Midnight Navy a prime-time look on a big stage for both teams' fans.
Where the Broncos stand
Denver is 4-2, according to ESPN, with wins over the Jaguars, Rams, Chargers and Seahawks. The Broncos visit Arizona on October 25, host Kansas City on November 1 and have a bye in Week 10. They play Christmas Day at home, then visit New England and host the Chargers in the final two weeks.
Wearing navy on game day
Fans pair the navy with a current player. The Bo Nix jersey (No. 10) is the quarterback's. For every date and color this season, see the Denver Broncos jerseys 2026 guide.
Nike makes the NFL's uniforms and has since 2012, so every jersey described here is a Nike design.
The Broncos and Bills are in different divisions: Denver plays in the AFC West. Denver's away jersey is white, so Midnight Navy is an alternate. The Orange Crush throwback is a separate uniform; see the Broncos jerseys.
