Seahawks Super Bowl Wins: Seasons, Scores and Jerseys

Posted by JerseyZenith on Oct 27th 2026

Seattle Seahawks · Super Bowl history
  • Record through Super Bowl LX: 2 wins in 4 appearances.
  • Season labels refer to the team’s football season; the Super Bowl is played in the following calendar year.
  • The MVP column names the game award winner, including an opponent when this team lost.
  • Historical jersey colors are recorded separately from the designated home or away team.

Seattle's championship story crosses two winning generations and three distinct uniform contexts. The first title belongs to a white jersey at MetLife Stadium; the second belongs to College Navy at Levi's Stadium. This timeline keeps those memories separate and explains why a familiar team color alone cannot identify a particular Super Bowl.

When did the Seahawks win the Super Bowl?

The Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl wins came in Super Bowl XLVIII, played in February 2014 for the 2013 season, and Super Bowl LX, played in February 2026 for the 2025 season. That distinction explains why one fan calls the first championship “2013” and another says “2014.” Both can refer to the same title, provided the season and game date are identified.

Seattle's first Super Bowl appearance came earlier, following the 2005 season. Pittsburgh won that game 21–10. Reaching the final and winning it are different entries in the record: the Seahawks had an appearance on the board before they had a Lombardi Trophy. The two later titles did not erase those earlier results; together the four games make a 2–2 record.

The first championship and the return to the final

Super Bowl XLVIII ended 43–8 against Denver. Malcolm Smith received the game MVP award, giving Seattle's first title a defensive face rather than a quarterback award. For a collector, this is the clearest starting point for the first championship era: establish the game, then check the jersey rather than assuming Seattle wore its dark home look.

The following season brought a second consecutive appearance. New England won Super Bowl XLIX 28–24, with Tom Brady named MVP. Seattle therefore did not repeat as champion. When comparing the two games, keep the opponents and final scores beside the uniform photos; the same roster era can produce two very different memories.

That sequence also makes “back-to-back Super Bowls” an incomplete description. It correctly describes appearances after the 2013 and 2014 seasons, but it does not mean consecutive championships. A gift note, display label or collection description should say which achievement it means.

The Seahawks’ last Super Bowl win: the 2025 season

The Seahawks’ last Super Bowl win is Super Bowl LX on February 8, 2026. Seattle defeated New England 29–13, and Kenneth Walker III earned MVP honors. This was a championship for the 2025 NFL season, not the still-unfinished 2026 season. Historical totals here stop at LX and make no prediction about the next postseason.

The rematch creates a useful pair of reference points: New England won XLIX; Seattle won LX. They are separate games, separated by more than a decade, even though the team names and a navy-versus-white contrast look familiar. The score, Roman numeral and game year provide a much stronger identification than a color description alone.

What Seattle wore in each game

Seattle wore blue in Super Bowl XL, white over College Navy pants in XLVIII, College Navy in XLIX, and College Navy again in LX. The team's own uniform announcements confirm the white-and-navy combination for the first championship and the navy combination for the second. Do not label a white XLVIII-inspired jersey as the look from LX.

Home and away are descriptions of uniform families here, not proof that a game took place in Seattle. The Super Bowl has a designated home team at its selected venue. A team can wear a road-style jersey in a championship victory, as Seattle did in its first win. Changes in cut, sleeve treatment and trim can also separate two jerseys with the same base color.

Shop the era with the game in mind

Start with the team collection, then compare the Seahawks throwback jerseys for an earlier visual identity. Throwback does not automatically mean a championship uniform: a royal-blue historical look belongs to a different design context from the navy sets in the modern Super Bowl appearances.

The legends jersey collection is another way to browse by a remembered player rather than a current roster. Read each product's stated edition, name and number before choosing. A present-day Nike jersey can honor a past team, but that alone does not make its fabric, patch or construction an exact reproduction of a game-worn championship jersey.
