Raiders Super Bowl Wins: Seasons, Scores and Jerseys

Posted by JerseyZenith on Oct 27th 2026

Las Vegas Raiders · Super Bowl history
  • Record through Super Bowl LX: 3 wins in 5 appearances.
  • Season labels refer to the team’s football season; the Super Bowl is played in the following calendar year.
  • The MVP column names the game award winner, including an opponent when this team lost.
  • Historical jersey colors are recorded separately from the designated home or away team.

The Raiders' championship history belongs to one franchise across Oakland, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. The three trophies predate the Las Vegas era. White was worn in the two Oakland wins, while black belongs to the Los Angeles championship, making city and uniform useful companions to the season record.

Three titles across two historical cities

The Raiders Super Bowl wins came in XI, XV and XVIII. Oakland won the first two; Los Angeles won the third. The current Las Vegas name is the correct route to the franchise's team collection, but it should not be applied retroactively as the city that won those games.

The first appearance came in II after the 1967 season. Green Bay won 33–14. That AFL championship team reached the Super Bowl but did not win it. Oakland's first Super Bowl trophy arrived after the 1976 season, when the Raiders beat Minnesota 32–14 in XI.

Keeping the city names in the table preserves the historical setting without splitting the franchise into unrelated records. A search for Oakland Raiders Super Bowl wins answers two; the complete Raiders franchise total answers three. A Las Vegas-era appearance count should not be substituted for either historical question.

The Oakland championships

Fred Biletnikoff was MVP of XI. The Raiders wore white against Minnesota purple, a pairing recorded in the team's own game history. This is the first championship reference for a collection focused on the 1970s Raiders, rather than the black-jersey appearance against Green Bay in II.

The next title was XV, a 27–10 win over Philadelphia for the 1980 season. Jim Plunkett received the MVP award. Oakland again wore white, while the Eagles wore green. The repeated Raiders color does not make the two title games identical: the opponents, seasons and MVPs are different.

The first two wins therefore offer distinct collecting anchors. XI connects to the first trophy and Biletnikoff's receiving recognition; XV connects to the later Plunkett championship. A broad black-and-silver tribute can honor both, but a game-specific display should keep the white jerseys and individual game references accurate.

The Raiders’ last Super Bowl win and the later return

The Raiders’ last Super Bowl win is XVIII, played in January 1984 for the 1983 season. The Los Angeles Raiders beat Washington 38–9, with Marcus Allen named MVP. This is the franchise's third title and its championship carrying the Los Angeles name.

The next appearance came as Oakland after the 2002 season. Tampa Bay won XXXVII 48–21 in January 2003, with Dexter Jackson as MVP. That game is the franchise's latest Super Bowl appearance through LX. It did not add a fourth championship.

The overall record is therefore 3–2. The latest win and latest appearance are separated by nearly two decades and by a return to Oakland. A historical product caption should identify which city and season it celebrates rather than using the current location as a replacement for that context.

What the Raiders wore in all five games

The Raiders wore black in II, white in XI, white in XV, black in XVIII and white in XXXVII. Two championships came in white and one in black. The black XVIII jersey should not be confused with the black jersey from the first appearance, which ended in defeat.

White also connects two championship games and a later loss. It is useful for recognizing the look, but it cannot identify the result by itself. The opponent and Roman numeral are the quickest way to separate a white Oakland jersey associated with Minnesota, Philadelphia or Tampa Bay.

Home-style and away-style descriptions concern uniform families, not the location of the championship venue. Modern Nike products may preserve the famous black-and-silver identity while differing from the cut and construction worn decades earlier. Browse the franchise without losing the era

Start with the current team collection and compare Raiders away jerseys for a white-jersey reference. Use the legends jersey hub to browse by a remembered player. Verify the name, number and historical styling on the actual product rather than assuming a category contains every old championship design.

For a gift, a short note naming Oakland 1976, Oakland 1980 or Los Angeles 1983 can make the intended championship clear. Check separately whether the item includes commemorative decoration or aims at an exact reproduction. The franchise's shared identity provides the connection; accurate city and season labels supply the history.
